BRING BABY TO THE OFFICE-YOUR DOG AT WORK

As the modern workplace in America evolves, more and more progressive companies are encouraging employees to bring their dogs to work with them. But no matter how much you love your dog, your dog is guests within your working environment, therefore you must put your co-workers comfort first.

“Always check with your co-workers and your supervisor before bringing your dog to the office.” advises Chicago Dog Coach Ami Moore. Some people have allergy issues and others are simply afraid of dogs. Others co-workers find having a dog in the office reduces stress and makes work feel more warm and welcoming. It can be great for office morale to have a tail-wagging dog cozying up to you while you’re working. If your employer has not welcomed dogs to work in the past, ask your boss to consider a special one-day event information event to warm people up to the idea of pooches at work. Coach Ami says, “This is a value added educational product that I provide to forward thinking CEO’s who want to create an environment that enhances mental and emotional wellness.”

A Sage Christmas With Your Dog

It’s easy to want to give your dog a big fat bowl of Christmas ham, mashed potatoes, and whatever else you think he might enjoy. It is a natural human tendency says, Ami The Chicago Dog Coach, “But that’s a bad idea for your dog’s health.”

Overindulging your Chicago dog in fatty foods can lead to an upset stomach, diarrhea, or pancreatitis (which can be life threatening. A few strips of raw turkey on a dog’s normal food is fine. Just don’t overdo it.

Stuff Your Dog’s Kong At Christmas Not Your Dog

Chicago Dog Sleeps

“Here’s a great way to keep your dog busy and happy during your Christmas meal,” advises Ami Moore The Chicago Dog Coach. Put a bit of your dog’s regular dog food in a Kong, and then stuff a little ham, mashed potatoes, gravy in the Kong. Use a piece of damp white bread as a stopper for the big hole on the bottom. It’s not much food, but it will keep him occupied for a long time and best of all you will feel good that you have shared your holiday feast with the hound you love.

Slovakia German Shepherd Import: CCK9 Newest Dog

We were recently very fortunate to be in a position to purchase Nick, a young German Shepherd imported from Slovakia. Aesthetically Nick is absolutely stunning, he is a large German Shepherd, with a large head and extremely powerful bone density. For such a young dog one would be shocked at the amount of confidence Nick possesses when being walked.

Nick has extremely strong nerves, and environmentally nothing phases, which is a rare commodity in a lot of German Shepherds today. He is absolutely devastating in his protection, he comes in fast and hard with a good solid grip. When it comes to Nick’s personality and social ability he is fantastic and loves children. It is not much of a stretch to say that Nick definitely was a phenomenal find.

Home Invasion & Protection Dogs

It is not a question that this fragile economy has created a number of instabilities amongst the nation, one being an alarming rise in crime. Home invasion is a leading crime that has received considerable exposure in the media within the last few years. The impact that home invasion leaves on its victims extends far beyond the crime itself, it strips them of their sense of safety that everyone deserves to feel in their home.

Although there is no formal definition, a “home invasion” is considered to be different than a breaking and entering. This is due to the fact that there is a premeditated confrontation with the victim as well as the intent to rob or violently act upon the occupants of the home. Home invasion involves different methods used to gain entry that all home owners should be aware of. For example, one method is when the perpetrator may use deception as their way to gain access into a home. This type of invasion typically occurs during the day or early evening and involves the invader pretending to be someone they are not. Another method of home invasion is the use of force to gain entry. In this scenario, the invader may approach the entrance of the home and proceed to break in, possibly through picking a lock or prying open a window. If people do not understand the critical importance of protecting the safety of their home, home invasions could happen even more often than not. Therefore, actions need to be taken by every homeowner to ensure the safety of their loved ones as well as their own. Protection dogs are without question provide a much needed solution to the issue of home invasion.

Protection dogs (guard dogs) are owned by many throughout the world for a reason. For those who are searching for a way to protect yourself from the threat of crime, guard dogs provide a very unique solution. If there was ever a home invasion that occurred, which put you and your family in danger, it would be vital for you to have some form of protection, security dogs would do just that. Say the intruder forced his way into your home, your trained protection dog would be there to respond instantly and prevent any harm to you, your family or your property. Overall, having a protection dog that would always be there on guard protecting you and if need be, serve as your savior in your time of need.

K.N.P.V. German Shepherd Litter Announcement

We are very excited to announce that we will be breeding Gandhi & Zina.

Gandhi is a KNPV PH 1 & PH 2 German Shepherd import from Holland. He has earned the coveted KNPV PH 2 degree in July of this year with a near perfect score of 418 points. He is the only German Shepherd in the world to have a KNPV PH 1 & PH 2.

Aesthetically Gandhi is stunningly beautiful to look at, he is a big robust dog with a head like a lion, with a straight back, he walks straight on his toes, and NOT on his hawks like you see in so many German Shepherds in the world today. Gandhi’s bloodline is very interesting staring with his direct mother Nastja, and his direct father, famous Germany stud dog, Vito.

Zina is a young German Shepherd that we had bred, she was the pick of the female litter. Zina is a very large female with very strong nerves. She is doing amazing in her training at such a young age. In fact there isn’t anything that she cannot do. You just show her something one time and she will do it right the first time.

Zina’s bloodline is a very strong one, with all KNPV down the line. Starting with her direct father Lubeck, and her direct mother Britt.

We are expecting very large, strong nerved puppies, with great work ethic. There will be some Sable, Black & Tan, and maybe even some solid black puppies. These puppies will be ideal as Personal Protection dogs, high-end KNPV, or even just a great strong family companion dogs.

This litter will take place late 2012, if one is interested in this amazing litter, please contact us.

Aesthetically Ombra is absolutely gorgeous, she is bi-color, just like her Mother,  she has big head, straight back, and walks on her toes, unlike what you see in todays world with so many German Shepherd that walk on their hawks.

Ombra’s personality is incredible, she has very strong nerves, is environmentally strong, never raises a fuss and will accept anything that she is challenged with. She is extremely intelligent and is a super quick learner. Ombra was create trained, and was also house trained in just one day. Ombra is NOT for sale, she will be held back for our breeding program. We are looking forward working with her and getting her up to our Executive Protection Dog level. We will keep you updated with her progress.

ICKX, Ombra's Father

Nastja, Ombra's Grandmother

K.N.P.V. Dutch Shepherd: Troy

This is a video of Troy, just one of the many KNPV Dutch Shepherds that we have imported. Troy is a very strong nerved female Dutch Shepherd. In this video Troy demonstrates the stick attack that is done within the KNPV program. As one knows the KNPV PH 1 program is the most difficult and hardest dog sport in Europe. Very few dogs can handle the difficulty of KNPV, and even though German Shepherds, Dutch Shepherds, and Belgian Malinois are very strong nerved dogs it is even hard for some of them to pass this hard sport. In fact only 800 to 1000 dogs are certified per year. The KNPV program is the closest sport to represent a true protection dog.
